My name is Antionette Tate but my friends and family call me Tonie. I was born, raised and educated in Wilmington, North Carolina. I received my B.A in Political Science from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington.

In 2001, I moved  from North Carolina to  the metro Atlanta area. What I enjoy most about Atlanta and the surrounding cities is it's African-American culture, history and it's endless opportunities for advancement.

I received my Masters in Divinity with a concentration in Theology from the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

I enjoy reading, mostly about theology and philosophy, and writing about my experiences.
